How do you change your FOV in mw2 single player? These variables can be changed with binds (bind KEY “cgfov XX”) in the single player mode but in co-op they are cheat/write protected. If you use this program, you don’t need a console, a bind or even a modded version of the game to change the field of view to your liking. Locate the file config.cfg in the game folder ' Modern Warfare 2 players ' and open in in notepad. Add a line that looks like the following. Bind KPINS 'cgfovscale 1.2'. Start the game and enter a mission, press the keypads Ins/0 key and you now get a 20% wider field of view. You'll have to do this at the beginning of every new mission.

- SCZ stands for: S ingleplayer + C O-OP + Z ombies. This field of view changer allows you to change the game variables cgfov (0-360) and cgfovScale (1.0 - 2.0) easily. Update: You need to do these changes each time you run the game since .cfg is reset, or set the file read-only.

Update #3: If you cannot find players folder in your MW2 dir try to look at: C:Users
Browse to your MW2/players/ directory
Note that it’s not MW2players for all people. Search config.cfg in your c:documents and settings folder, and you should find the config file.
Open config.cfg in wordpad and add the following lines:

bind M “cg_fov 90”
Once ingame press M to increase your FOV.

Optionally, if you don’t want to have to remember to press M to set your FOV, locate the line ‘bind W “+forward”‘ and change it to:
bind W “+forward;cg_fov 90”
This will set your fov automatically as soon as you walk in each level.
Changing FOV in config_mp.cfg is untested, but it may work (no idea if this is detected by VAC).
If you would like cheats, also add:
bind O “god”
bind P “ufo”
bind N “notarget”
bind J “jump_height 150”
bind K “give all”
bind L “give ammo”
